Open Source Contibutions
Suretec have made the following contributions to the Open Source Community:
- We are part of the OpenLDAP Engineering Team.
- We added an update to the ldap-stats.pl OpenLDAP tool, soon to be included in the contrib section of the core OpenLDAP code.
- We wrote the LDAP and Transport Layer Security chapter in The Official Samba-3 HOWTO and Reference Guide, 2nd Edition
- We have various projects in our CPAN directory, the main ones being Samba::LDAP and Template::Plugin::LDAP
- We donated the create_dovecot_shares tool, as listed on the Dovecot Tools page.
- We started the Aberdeen Perl Mongers Group
- We help with the Catalyst Core Documentation
- We help with various Catalyst Plugins
- We donated the domain names mkcdrec.org and linuxradio.org, and continue to renew these
- We contributed articles to FedoraNEWS
- We help moderate the Fedora Forum
- We helped with some LDAP features in
Core Asterisk and others.

- We helped with the Amanda Docs Conversion
- We comment on our Catalyst Ideas
- We maintain various packages in Fedora Extras
- We were members of the Fedora Documentation Steering Committee (FDSCo). Due to current Suretec workload, we could not actively take part in 2007.
- We are currently working on (in our limited free time) a tool called SOSA, to help administer Samba and Open-xchange Users
